The stories are redundant, have been around a very long time, therefore dated. Probably good for younger readers, not mature adults.
Something different, as I usually like a long novel that will keep me entertained for a few days. The short stories were fun, trying to figure out how they would end, and relaxing as I didn't have to keep reading, unable to put the book down. I think it was a very good idea, and I would welcome more books of short mysteries.
